The Televisual Village Fete returns to the fabulous Regent’s University Gardens with more bars, more food stalls, more fairground attractions and You are invited

Join us on Monday 23rd June, 2025 from 3.00pm to dusk

If you personally received your own VIP invitation,
you can register for the event here

The ever-popular Televisual Village Fete is by far the largest annual gathering of post and VFX business, creative and operational talent alongside post and VFX supers and producers and TV and film studios executives joined by many of the UK’s brightest technologists from the leading resellers and primary post vendors. It is also the most enjoyable.

Anyone who attended last year will tell you there is no grander Central London location than Regent’s University.

Many will go on to tell you there is no finer industry networking event.

If you haven’t been before, the Televisual Village Fete is an event like no other.

This is the place to catch up with everyone in post and VFX and everything that’s happening.

Scroll down the page and find out all about this year’s garden party and what to expect in 2025.

You can also see a wrap film immediately below and photos further down and throughout this web page from last year which, if you don’t know the event, is a good place to start.

REGISTRATION IS ESSENTIAL AS THIS EVENT WILL BE OVER-SUBSCRIBED

If you didn’t come last year, you won’t know why this is the hottest industry ticket in town. Last year’s wrap film scratches the surface of what makes the Televisual Village Fete so memorable.

Please note the changed route map to get to the York Bridge Road entrance

THE PERFECT LOCATION

The fete takes place in the serene and beautiful Regent’s University gardens on the Southern tip of Regent’s Park.

Regent’s University, Inner Circle, Regent’s Park, London NW1 4NS

Regent’s University is exceptionally well served by public transport and easy to get to for anyone based in London or coming in to any of the main rail stations. For those coming from Noho and even Soho, you can walk there within half an hour (and get home quickly after the event). The short stroll through Regent’s Park is a pleasure in itself and the venue very easy to find.

Please note that York Bridge is currently closed. For most of you this means a changed route whether walking from Baker Street or crossing the Marylebone Road. The map above / facing shows you two alternative paths to the same entrance on York Bridge road.

The gardens and location are perfect in just about every respect.

FOOD & DRINKS

This year has the widest selection of drinks to date with:
* Televisual’s own twist on Pimms sponsored by Sean and Katherine at Editshare
* Ice cold beer and wine from David, Chris, Liz and the Jigsaw24 Media crew
* HHB’s JJ, Ian and Lexie who know that Champagne maketh the hour
* Pete, RHG and Leanne are offering exotic pixitmedia coloured cocktails
* While Tyrell’s Bryan and Dan understand that a premium G+T is always welcome

And twice the number of delicious food servings we had last year with:
* Altered Images’ Tony and Nick sponsoring the ever popular wood-fired pizza
* Nick from Salon once more offering the poshest of posh dogs
* And Big Pic Media’s Adam, Mia and Luke adding truly authentic burritos and tacos to the menu

FAIRGROUND ATTRACTIONS & DIVERSIONS

The fete always channels the inner child in all of us and this year we have the very best diversions and talking points including:
* The LucidLink Table Tennis Tournament organised by Rupert, Alex and the team
* Sohonet’s Damian, Liv and friends bring the Table Football League
* Alistair, Nico and Heiner are bringing an enormous slot car circuit (a lot like Scalextric) all the way from the Elements’ offices in Düsseldorf
* Andy at Seagate has a giant wobbly Tetris to test your mettle
* Spin and win with Escape Technology’s Jason and Lee on the roulette wheel
* Marquis’ Jason, Paul and Liz will test you to distraction with a giant wire buzz
* Defy gravity with Jigsaw24 Media’s Giant Jenga
* And capture the moment with Pixitmedia’s revolving photo booth

A special mention for the ever-helpful Guy from AKA who is supporting the event with logistics. And Nicola and the team at Avid for their generous support.

A VILLAGE FETE SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE A HEART

As with all previous years we will be collecting money for charity. We don’t want to be pushy but we will encourage you to support our choice of the Red Cross Disaster Emergency Committees for Gaza and Ukraine raising money for critical humanitarian aid. And if giving without return is just not your thing, you have very good odds of winning magnums of fizz from Arthur at FilmLight, Gina and Simon from AKA, Marc from DigiBox, Charles and Matt from Digital Garage, Matt from GB Labs and Simon from Dot Group. Duncan from Tuxera is bringing a Finnish Hamper with three bottles of Finnish spirits and other goodies. Tanooki’s Klaf is bringing a kadai (I didn’t know either but Charlotte swears by it) and Hiring Post’s DJ is raising the interest level still further with an iPad with more star prizes to be announced shortly.

THIS YEAR’S WRAP FILM

This year, we’re again working with the latest camera technology and workflows to capture the event including a Sony Extension System Mini mounted on a Cyclops helmet (which has to be seen to be believed) and a Sony Burano with PDT-FP1 showing camera to Sony’s Ci Media Cloud where we will be editing the wrap film as if the other side of the world (but actually only yards away on location).

You can catch up with more of your peers than you might find at any other UK event and within a memorable, fun and relaxed atmosphere. There were over 450 guests from over 160 companies attending last year’s event with more than 250 company business and technical directors. We are expecting over 500 this year.

Whether you work in post, VFX, a studio or manage the process, the Televisual Village Fete brings together the UK’s finest business, operational and creative talent from across the community along with post supervisors and producers for what will be an inspirational and lively afternoon and evening.

REGISTRATION IS ESSENTIAL AS THIS EVENT WILL BE OVER-SUBSCRIBED

A LITTLE BIT OF FORMALITY

Please kindly note preregistration is essential. You need to register to attend.

This is an exclusive, by-invitation VIP event for senior post, VFX and DIT management, in-house and broadcast post management, TV and film studios executives, and lead creative talent alongside post and VFX supervisors and other post-centric production staff.

If you received the VIP invitation email, you are automatically on the list to come in, so long as you have registered ahead.

MY NAME’S NOT ON THE LIST??

If you feel that that we’ve missed one of your senior team, that you’d like to bring a colleague or that you fit the criteria and should be coming, please email james@televisual.com. I cannot promise to answer immediately, but will try to come back positively and swiftly.

Please do not register unless you have been invited as spaces are limited and we always have more people wanting to attend than we can cater for. (Sorry.)

Dogs are welcome so long as they are well behaved and you tidy up after them. There are smoking areas too for those who just can’t quit.

  • AJA have many products that support production and post including KONA cards, T-TAP Pro and the powerful FS-HDR supporting up, down, cross-conversion from 2K/HD/SD to 4K or UltraHD video and back over.

    Introducing AJA ColorBox

As demand for 4K/UltraHD grows, and virtual sets introduce custom configurations, productions are working harder than ever to achieve consistent, colour-accurate looks from lens through to post. As Digital Image Technician (DIT) Jamie Metzger put it, “Staying on top of monitoring and data technology is a job in and of itself, but it’s important to find the time to discover tools that can make the job easier.”

One tool that’s helping Metzger and other production professionals keep pace with evolving colour management strategies on-set is AJA ColorBox. The portable, high-performance converter for colour-managed workflows supports low latency, in-line HDR/SDR algorithmic, and LUT colour transforms for live production, live event, in-studio, and on-set applications. Available since fall 2022, ColorBox is proving itself invaluable across a diverse range of environments as productions navigate new technology and workflows.
